Today’s featured blogger is long time friend, Tabetha Sullens at Reminisce Heirlooms. Tabetha makes some of the most beautiful, high quality jewelry I’ve seen. I have a few pieces and just love them. I tell her all the time that I get tons of compliments every time I wear them – especially that funky felt ball necklace!
She says that her mother-in law started it all when she said, “You can do this, T!” That was all it took. She just needed someone else’s confidence in her abilities. Tabetha also says that "reminiscing" is something she has done since high school. From studying her family tree to digging for old photographs, she is consumed with where we come from as a generation. About four years ago she combined that with a jewelry hobby and presto... Reminisce Heirlooms came to be.

Tabetha is a full time wife and mother and tries to be a good aunt. One glance at her blog shows that she enjoys family - her whole drive is based on that foundation. She also works outside the home, but this jewelry hobby has become a job in itself. She feels incredibly blessed by God to have met so many wonderful people in this way. She is touched by stories that have been shared with her. She feels like she knows her blog readers on a personal level. I feel that way, too! She says, “it is funny, in school I was called ‘cheesy’. I joke that some things never change. I am still that way, and proud to be so”.
Tabetha’s favorite part of making the heirlooms is seeing the smiles when a person sees a finished product. She enjoys making these so much. She has been honored greatly by two families sharing very emotional stories of how their heirlooms have been passed on. There are no words to tell you how much their stories have moved her. In 2010, she is looking for ways to combine new ideas with current creations. I am so looking forward to seeing what this talented lady has up her sleeve.
